Etang piscicole : Pourquoi et comment,
Etang piscicole : Pourquoi et comment,
L’aquaculture
Fish ponds :
Why and how
Aquaculture
in underdeveloped countries is one of the most important sector because it
contributes to the achievement of food security, indeed the products (fish, crustaceans,
molluscs and algae ...) from this sector provide the public with essential
nutrients to the welfare it's a mainly of animal or vegetable origin proteins,
polyunsaturated fatty acids (ω3 and ω6) at
lower costs. However, aquaculture is still embryonic in most underdeveloped
countries is the case of Cameroon where demand for fish literally expose due to
population growth (according INSC, 2010 it amounts to 2.6% / year 2005-2010),
and fish imports is felt beyond 110,000 t (FAOSTAT 2010).
Among the many problems plaguing this sector. The choice of fish pond as the most likely breeding infrastructure to meet the profitability targets fish farmers and reducing investment costs seems obvious, but its implementation or even its design is not very well controlled. It is in this context that we try modestly to highlight an example of fish farm plan that can help you better understand its design
